MARIUS.

NAME: Marius Amundrød | BASE: Norway
AGE: 22 | @: @marius2105
3 WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOU: Determined, passionate & humble.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SKIPPING?: 2.5 years.

STORY.

WHY DID YOU WANT TO BECOME A RUSH ATHLETE?
Rush Athletics is what got me into skipping, so when Rushie launched the Rush Athlete programme, I knew this is what I wanted; to be a part of the family and be able to represent and spread the brand to others - so they also can change their life through skipping.

HOW HAS SKIPPING IMPACTED YOUR LIFE?
Skipping changed my life completely. It taught me to learn, to accept failure and to try again no matter how hard things can be. Its brought me into a wonderful family of skippers all across the globe. And best of all, it’s made me happy.

INSPIRE.

“Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.”

“If you want to reach your goals, you need to go all out with an open mind. Accepting that things can be a lot harder than expected and using everything you learn to edge closer towards your goals.

Think about what motivates you. Is it to land a new trick or to jump another 10 skips before tripping? Or is it the journey of adopting a newfound lifestyle that skipping brings? When you’re struggling, break tricks down, count the number of times a piece of plastic moves past your head. Think about where you started, and where you want to go. Set your goals high (I prefer mine to be unreachable) and focus on one thing at a time. You can do this! You got this! And of course, we’re all here to help you in the process!'“
